FAQS
CAN BLONDE SOLUTIONS LIGHTENING SYSTEM BE USED ON ALL HAIR TYPES AND HAIR TEXTURES?
Yes
CAN BLONDE SOLUTIONS LIGHTENING SYSTEM BE USED ON PREVIOUSLY COLOURED HAIR?
Blonde Solutions lightening system can be used in all the ways you would typically use other bleaching products. We recommend performing a strand test prior to all bleaching services. Each of our products carry our skin sensitivity protocol.
HOW DO YOU MIX YOUR LIGHTENER AND DEVELOPERS?
Our lightening system requires a little more elbow grease than usual to achieve the best results. You must mix for 4 minutes to ensure that all of the pigmented micro capsules are completely mixed with your chosen Blonde Solutions developer. Ideally use an electric mixer, such as the Ping, to ensure proper mixing.
CAN YOU USE BLONDE SOLUTIONS VIOLET POWDER WITH NON-BLONDE SOLUTIONS DEVELOPERS?
No, it’s the combination of our micro pigment capsules in the powder and the pigmented developer which guarantees the perfect raw lift result.
CAN YOU USE BLONDE SOLUTIONS PIGMENTED DEVELOPER WITH OTHER BLEACH OR COLOURING PRODUCTS?
Yes, however please be aware your end result may be affected by the blue pigment in our developer.
CAN YOU USE IN FOILS?
Absolutely! Blonde Solutions lightening system is ideal for use in foils as throughout the lightening process you will see minimal swelling of the product. Blonde Solutions lightening system can be used for all hair lightening services e.g Balayage / foilyage, corrective colour, on scalp bleaching techniques etc, let your creative juices flow!
WHAT IS THE DEVELOPMENT TIME?
The active lift life of our bleach powder is up to 2 hours, unlike most bleach powders where they begin to lose their lifting power after 40 minutes. Most bleach powders start with a rapid rate of lift during the first 20-30 minutes which may impact the integrity of the hair shaft, dramatically slowing down after the initial lightening period.
Blonde Solutions has a controlled/consistent rate of lift meaning you will not see a rapid initial lightening of the hair shaft which ensures the integrity of the hair throughout and after the lightening process. This gives us the opportunity to lift lighter without compromise.
HOW DO YOU APPLY YOUR LIQUID TONING MASKS?
Apply Liquid Toning Masks AFTER the lightening process. For best results, shampoo the hair to remove any remaining traces of lightener, then towel dry the hair thoroughly and apply your Liquid Toner of choice.
For a softer colour result on a level 10 lift, you can dilute with water using a mixing bottle (ratio 1:1). We do not recommend diluting when working on lower levels of lift.
ARE YOUR LIQUID TONING MASKS INTERMIXABLE?
Absolutely! Our liquid Toning Masks are mixable with each other offering free range of custom creativity. No developer needed!
WHAT ARE THE VARIOUS TONING EFFECTS OF YOUR LIQUID TONING MASKS?
Blonde Solutions Liquid Toners will take your blonde game to the next level... PERIOD! Our semi permanent conditioning toning mask delivers 4 shades of blonde varying from Chrome (ash), Viridi (beige), Rosè (champagne), and Platinum (speaks for itself). Lasts up to 4-6 washes.
WITH THE BLEACH, IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE BLEACH THICKER BY MIXING LESS DEVELOPER (1:1 OR 1:1.5) OR WILL THIS AFFECT THE RESULT?
Our recommended mixing ratio is 1:2, but as you are the artist we encourage you to mix to whatever consistency you prefer to work with. A lower ratio of developer will mean slightly less development time and a high ratio would mean a slightly longer processing time.
